The Playing Field site is located in Spring Road on the outskirts of Bardwell village. Within the 3.538 acre site are the following facilities some of which have restricted access as they are hired out or used by season ticket holders. The money raised from these charges goes towards and in no way covers the considerable cost of maintaining these facilities.

Facilities available:

• • Car park with a hard surface area designated for parking for the disabled.
  
  • Paths suitable for wheel chairs and pushchairs lead to the various facilities.
  
  • Pavilion with changing rooms, main room suitable for committee meetings and a small kitchenette.
  
  • Main Football Pitch.
  
  • Mini Football Pitch.
  
  • Multi-use Games Area for 5-a-side football, tennis, basketball and netball. Floodlighting available until 10pm (MUGA bookings are dealt with separately).
  
  • OBI Basket Ball Goal.
  
  • Kick-about Football Goal.
  
  • Playground Area.
  

Hire fees for playing field facilties:

Pavilion:

Small group use such as meetings for a maximum of 3hrs £5.
Small group use such as a party for a maximum of 6hrs £10.

Pavilion and grass areas:

Larger Events for fetes, sports days etc Maximum use 1 day £30.

Large football pitch plus pavilion:

£25 per session and includes the use of the goals and nets.

(All of the prices above are negotiable for a series of bookings)

Large football pitch plus pavilion per season:

Price available upon application.

Terms and Conditions:

• A deposit of at least £20 may be required of the Hirer, at the request of the Bookings Officer or the Committee.

• Such a deposit will be refunded within 28 days of the termination of the period of hire provided that no damage or loss has been caused to the facilities, premises and/or contents during the period of the hiring, as a result of the hiring and that the facilities have been left clean and tidy

• In the event of such loss or damage the Committee will refund the deposit less the sum required to clean or rectify such loss or damage.

• The hire fee and any deposit is payable at the time of signing the hire agreement. The hirer must show their copy of the hire agreement to the key holder at the time of collecting the keys for the hire.
