Bardwell School has a very active PTA committee. We organise fund raising events throughout the year to raise money for the school.

There are 2 key events during the year-namely the summer football tournament and fete held every July and a Christmas bazaar in early December. In addition we hold smaller events throughout the year such as live music events, Easter themed events and some sponsored events.

With the money raised at these events we have been able to fund several items of IT equipment in recent years including a digital camera and an interactive whiteboard. We also fund some school trips,play equipment and additional items for individual classes to enhance the curriculum such as globes,atlases and other books. We have in the past also funded swimming lessons during the summer term.

We are well supported by parents and have a large committee which spreads the workload and also provides a great opportunity to meet other parents. Our meetings are very informal and are held in the Dun Cow Pub approximately 3 times per term. We always encourage new parents to join; it's a great way to become part of the school and village community and we are always pleased to have new ideas.
