Bardwell in Pre-Roman Times

Bardwell in Pre-Roman Times

Peddars Way was the main route between Colchester (some time capital of England) and Hunstanton and forms part of the Eastern boundary to the Parish. The Icknield Way, which forms part of the route between Stone Henge (Wiltshire) and Wood Henge, Hunstanton (Norfolk), joins Peddars Way a few hundred metres north of the Parish boundary.
