The playing field proved to be a busy, local amenity, this summer. The children’s play area, with a new seating facility, has proved very popular with Mums and Dads as well the youngsters. They will have noticed that a new fence is being erected alongside the play area, part of the on-going improvement and maintenance of the site, planned by the Committee.

Tennis and Cricket coaching sessions held at the field during the school break were fully subscribed and enjoyed by all. More annual subscriptions than ever, have been taken up, for use of the Multi-Use Games Area, but there are still subscriptions available, at reduced prices, for the remainder of the year.

A quiz evening is planned on 23rd. October. 2009., in the Tithe Barn.
All proceeds will go towards the upkeep and improvement of the playing field.  In the past, it has proved to be a fun evening, with a lot of good natured rivalry. Please come along and support us.
