Bardwell Strollers  3rd March 2010     

After an uncertain start as to the “time” we should be setting off on our Stroll, 3 walkers went one way around the village, whilst 2 walkers set off on a walk, via a different route!Never mind, we all met up at the end of our separate walks for a warming Community lunch at the Tithe Barn.

Whilst walking, one member of our group of 3, told us a story about a ghost who is supposed to appear on a corner, heading towards Ixworth Thorpe, where a cottage used to stand.  We quickened our pace back towards Bardwell. Spooky! It had been a very cold morning, but at least it was dry.  Let us hope the sun will keep shinning through March, so that our next Stroll at the end of the month to Nowton Park, will help the daffodils to be in full bloom ready for our visit.

11th August Wednesday – ALL DAY OUTING -  10.30 A.M. – Still a Short walk, followed by a Picnic or Pub Lunch. (More information to follow later).
