We intend to make no profits from our service and return any extra funds into improving the service we offer and the value for money you receive.  Our team entirely consists of unpaid volunteers so our fees are very low despite the thousands of pounds worth of man-hours they have expended on the project to date and continue to do so.  In simple terms it works like this:  your organisation pays a small annual fee to join BardwellVillage.info and we provide you with all you need to be able to publish your information here including a helping hand when you have any questions.  This small fee helps cover our unavoidable technical expenses such as the place our web site lives on the internet.  Fees are set based on the type of organisation you are and what features you would like on BardwellVillage.info.

Types of Organisation

We aim to provide facilities for organisations of all sizes to publish successfully here on BardwellVillage.info.  The types of organisation we have identified in our local community are:

1. Profit making organisations and businesses.
   
2. Not for profit organisations.
3. Charitable organisations.

Under our charging structure, the above list indicates who pays the most (1) and who pays the least (3) for any same set of features based on these discounts to be applied:

Not for profit organisations receive a 60% discount and charitable organisations receive an 80% discount on Services Offered (Features). We are sorry that this discount does not extend to the Additional Features Offered which are small one off setup fees. Services Offered (Features)

The publishing services we offer are:

1. Bardwell Directiory Listing = £10 annually SPECIAL DEAL NOW ON: 2 for 1 on Directory Listings - that's two ads for one year, or one ad for two years!
   
   
2. A single editable page = £20 annually
   
   
3. A minisite of many pages = £50 annually

What's Included with that?

All include email support from our team. The following outlines the additional features that come as standard: 

1. Bardwell Directory Listing = A text listing on the Bardwell Directory.
   
   
2. A single editable page = One page, a personal training session with our team, and one standard web address feature e.g. www.bardwellvillage.info/yourorganisation. A listing in the Bardwell directory is also included.
   
   
3. A minisite of many pages = Several pages, a standard web address feature e.g. www.bardwellvillage.info/yourorganisation, your own image in the header of the web site, a news section, a contact form (sends an email to your organisation), webmail and POP3 access to one email address e.g. , and a subdomain e.g. yourorganisation.bardwellvillage.info (helps with people memorising your address as well as improving your position in search engine results). A listing in the Bardwell directory is also included.
   
   

2 and 3 include access to the publishing manual.

Additional Features Offered

All these additional features only cost a one off setup fee regardless of how many years you use them for.  In the infrequent cases where they need to be reworked into a slightly different form* the setup fee is charged again:

1. Additional email address - £2 (e.g. )
   
   
2. Additional standard web address - £2 (you could have www.bardwellvillage.info/yourorganisation/ point to the home page on your minisite and www.bardwellvillage.info/yourorganisation/contactus point to your contact form).
   
   
3. Additional subdomain - £2 (you could have yourorganisation.bardwellvillage.info and contactyourorganisation.bardwellvillage.info).
   
   
4. Additional contact form - £2 (you might need people to be able to contact more than one person at your organisation).
   
   
5. One Googlemap - £5 (let people see where your organisation is based or where you meet regularly).
   
   
6. One header image - £5 (have your own image in the header of any of your pages).
   
   
7. One logo or image on your listing in the Bardwell Directory - £4.
   
   
8. One search engine optimised link on your Bardwell Directory listing - £1.
   
   

* e.g. changing the email address into counts as a new setup for charging purposes even if it is the same persons email address.  The same principle applies to changing the email address that a contact form sends messages to, it is a new form setup.

Terms of Fees and Payment

Note: We have a separate set of Terms and Conditions for all Publishers which you must agree to abide by to publish on BardwellVillage.info.

Full breakdown of charges: 

We agree to advise you and seek your agreement when a charge will be incurred before undertaking any work you have requested.  We will inform you when the work has been completed and keep a record of all work and associated charges.  These details will be included as a full breakdown on your bi-annual invoice.

Sorry there may be changes in the future:

We reserve the right to change the charges and their terms at any time and give clients one month's notice before their renewal date at the end of the billing year.

Billing dates:

Our Billing Year runs from February 1st for 12 months.  If you join after 1st August you will only be charged 50% of the annual charge on features that are charged on an annual basis, other setup fees remain the same.  Bi-annual invoices will be issued on the 1st February and 1st August.

Payment details:

Invoices are payable on standard 30 days terms.  We reserve the right to terminate your service on BardwellVillage.info if payment is not made within this period.

Payment details will be shown on each invoice.
